Hello From NorthEast Salem, Oregon!

Founded October 22, 1973, NorthEast Salem Community Association, NESCA, is one of 19 neighborhood associations officially recognized by the City of Salem. Our association encompasses three city parks including Hoover School Park, Harry and Grace Thorp Park and Geer Community Park. We also are home Hoover Elementary School and Lancaster Mall.

NESCA is proud to be home to Fire Station 10 and look forward to the upcoming groundbreaking and construction of the permanent station. Special interest currently is focused on the plans the State of Oregon has for the State Mental Hospital, directly adjacent to our neighborhood.
